So you want me to email you everyday and that may be a problem
because my mailbox is over it's size limit, so I'll keep you
updated through this blog.
Today-
I woke up and went grocery shopping afterwards I took
the metro. The metro here is crazy bunny. It's super clean
and super fast. It's way better than LA's and New York's.
I'll take pictures of it maybe... but I'm just scared that one
will steal my camera- Madrid is known for pick pocketers- people
who steal your things.
Then, I went to class- Cervantes class about
Don Quijote. It was pretty interesting and it sounds like a hard class, but I hope
that I like it.
After class, I took the metro back home and went
grocery shopping again because I forgot to buy a few things.
Once I came back, I made myself some food- sandwiches
and french toast!!
I'm on a pretty strict budget so I pretty much have to eat everything
that I buy... but fresh food here is not bad- it consists of a lot of ham,
cheese, and bread..
the Spanish love their ham.. in the grocery store you see dried pig
hanging by the meat department and they even have ham flavored potato
chips naatttyyy.. haha
It's pretty cool how close everything is to each other;
it takes me 6 minutes to talk to the grocery store and 4 minutes to talk to my metro
stop.
Anyway, I have no leave now because I have to go to a meeting.
BUT hope that you're watching the inauguration and President Obama on TV!!!!
